Corporate Climb is a free browser idle tycoon game: hire staff, automate your office, invest in the stock market, and watch your company grow — even while your tab is closed. Everything below runs in your browser, saves automatically, and costs nothing to play.
Every session of Corporate Climb starts the same way: click "Close a Deal" to bring in cash by hand, then reinvest that cash into things that make money without you clicking at all. The game is designed to be played in short bursts — check in, spend your earnings, close the tab, and come back later to a business that kept working.
Once you're generating steady income, put spare cash into shares like TechCorp or GlobalBank. Each share pays a small dividend every second, on top of whatever your office is earning — a second income stream that keeps running in the background.
Aggressive Expansion converts your current cash into permanent Expansion Tokens (+5% profit each) without resetting your building or staff — a low-risk way to lock in a permanent bonus mid-run.
Go Public (IPO) is the prestige mechanic: once you've earned $1M total, you can reset your company in exchange for Corporate Shares, each worth +10% to all profits, forever. Every "climb" after that starts faster than the last.
Watch for random market events — a Viral Campaign doubles revenue temporarily, while a Market Crash or Servers Down event works against you for a short window. Log in daily to build a streak for bonus cash, and don't worry about leaving the game — Corporate Climb calculates offline earnings for up to 4 hours away, so your office keeps making money while you're gone.
Production polish pass: rebuilt the market-event system so bonuses and penalties apply consistently across every income source (clicks, employees, and stock dividends alike). Added a safer ad-break flow that gracefully falls back if an ad fails to load, so a bad connection never blocks your offline-earnings claim. Added the cookie consent banner, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages for GDPR/CCPA compliance.
Introduced Daily Streaks with a bonus-doubling ad option, rebalanced the Achievements list, and fixed a rounding bug where very large revenue numbers occasionally displayed incorrectly in the shop panel.
Added the Stock Market panel (TechCorp, GlobalBank) with per-second dividends, plus the Aggressive Expansion and Go Public (IPO) prestige systems for long-term progression.
Added Dark Mode, a sound toggle, offline earnings on return, and random market events (Viral Campaign, Market Crash, Servers Down, Generous Investor) to keep idle sessions interesting.
First public release: click to close deals, hire employees, build floors, and grow your office from a garage startup into a growing business.
Corporate Climb is a solo project — designed, built, and maintained by one person rather than a studio. Its origin is pretty simple: I like the feeling of growing something without having to pour hours into it every day, whether that's a small business, a garden, or a save file. Idle games scratch that exact itch, so I decided to build one myself instead of just playing someone else's.
The game is built with plain HTML5, CSS and JavaScript — no game engine, no build step — which keeps it light enough to run entirely in your browser tab. It's very much a living project: the economy, visuals, and feature set keep getting refined based on how people actually play.
